Corona reshaping relationship, society?

Monday, 28 September 2020

As more and more people, if still not the majority, are coming back to working life outside of home, they are yet to find the old vibrancy at public places. In Bangladesh, a more visible thing is a lull in visits to friends and relatives for adda (rendezvous). Perhaps, there are changes in the patterns of conversations over phone and social media apps. Some say that although they have to talk via technology, they feel bored about it. Overall, it's a depressing situation that is affecting many people.
This is something that we don't take care of. Health risks and financial uncertainties are two most discussed topics but how individuals would treat each other and overcome their trauma and how society would return to really new normal activities are yet to be studied. We don't know if we are going to see a more selfish society or a caring one. A fear factor may haunt the youth while creative opportunities are really an option. It's time to think about the upcoming trends for taking preparations.
