Cosmetics factory catches fire in city

A fire broke out in a cosmetics factory at Dalpatti of Chakbazar in old Dhaka on Monday afternoon. Fire service control room sources said the broke out in the tin-shed factory situated on the rooftop of a 3-storey building around 4:15 pm. Five fire fighting unit went to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 4:50 am. When contacted, Senior Station Officer of Lalbagh Fire Station Kazi Nozumuzzaman said the flame was doused at about 5:15 pm, according to a news agency.
