Councillor leads cleanliness drive at Nazira Bazar

Local councillor Md. Mamun urged all on Sunday to dispose of garbage at designated places instead of leaving the kitchen waste on roadsides indiscriminately.
He made the call while leading a cleanliness drive at Nazira Bazar under Ward No. 34 of Dhaka South City Corporation. He himself made all the arrangements for disposal of garbage in a bid to make the area free from stinking waste.
The local people joined him during the drive as Md. Munir Hossain Mintu, chairman of Nirapad Cycle Lane Chai Foundation, president of Dhaka Foundation and founder of Dhaka Juba Foundation, was present, among others.
