Country under wild-repressive rule: Khaleda
Friday, 20 June 2014
Accusing the ruling party men of carrying out brutal killing one after another, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has said that the country is now under a wild-repressive rule. ‘In fact, there’s no government in the country right now. Democracy has been deported. The country is now under a wild-repressive rule,’ she said while consoling the family members of Mirpur Bihari camp violence victims on Thursday night. The family members of those killed, injured and affected in the violence at Kurmitola Bihari Camp at Pallabi met with the BNP Chairperson at her Gulshan office. Khaleda alleged that the perpetrators of the heinous killings taking place across the country are not getting punishment as there is no rule of law here. The former prime minister reiterated her demanded for forming a judicial probe body to identify those involved in the Mirpur incident and mete out punishment to them, according to a news agency.
