Country's tallest man Jinnat Ali dies at 24

COX'S BAZAR, Apr 28: The tallest man of the country and second tallest man of the world Mohammad Jinnat Ali has passed away.
Jinnat Ali breathed his last at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in the early morning of Tuesday. He was 24. His brother Elias Ali confirmed the death news.
According to sources, Jinnat Ali was undergoing treatment at the neurosurgery department of CMCH. He had been suffering from a brain tumor and other physical complications for a long time, hospital sources said.
Jinnat Ali was admitted to the CMCH on Monday and placed on life support.
He was born at Borobeel village of Ramu upazila under Cox's Bazar district in 1996. According to family sources, standing 8 feet 2.85 inches height, Jinnat was the second son of Amir Hamza and Safura Begum. Due to hormone complications, his body started to increase in abnormal height 12 years ago.
