Couple hacked to death in N\\\'ganj

Unknown miscreants killed a couple in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila some time between Sunday night and early on Monday. Amanullah, 55, and his second wife Hosne Ara, 35, were hacked to death has been killed at their residence. Police suspect a festering land dispute may have led to the murder. Quoting local people, Fatulla Model Police Station OC Aktar Hossain said neighbours spotted the bodies during Fazr prayers as the door of the house was open and informed the police. Police detained Alamgir and Abu Bakar Siddiqui, brothers of Amanullah’s first wife. There was dispute over share of land between the two wives, the OC said, according to bdnews24.com.
