Couple killed in Bogra crash

A madrasah teacher and his wife were killed when a bus hit their motorcycle on Bogra-Rangpur highway at Shibganj upazila in Bogra on Wednesday. The dead are Shibganj Deuli Alim Madrasah vice-principal Maulana Golam Mostafa, 55, and his wife Jayeda Begum, 45. Police said the Bogra-bound bus from Gaibandha crashed into the motorcycle of the couple in front of Biharpur Government Primary School around 8:30pm while they were returning home, leaving them injured. Local people rescued and rushed them to a hospital but they succumbed on way, according to UNB.
