Couple killed in Munshiganj road crash

MUNSHIGANJ, Oct 13 (UNB): A couple was killed and three others, including a child, were injured when as a bus collided with a battery-operated rickshaw on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Gozaria in Munshiganj district on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Billal Hossain, 65,
and his wife Alema Begum, 50, of Dandi Luterchar village in Meghna upazila of Cumilla.
Gozaria Bhaberchar Highway Police Station in-charge Md. Shawkat Hossain said that the Dhaka-bound bus from Motlob near Anarpura bus stand rammed the auto-rickshaw carrying Billal Hossain and his family, leaving five people injured.
