Couple\\\'s bodies found in clinic

Bodies of a couple have been recovered from a private hospital in Jhenidah. Police retrieved the bodies from Doctors’ Clinic, a private hospital in Jhenidah district town, around 3:00pm on Saturday. The deceased are Jewel Hossain, 30, and Nasrin Khatun, 26, both were from Bogra village under Shreepur Upazila of Magura district. Quoting clinic owner Hamidunnesa Pakhi, Jhenidah Superintendent of Police Altaf Hossain said the couple as came in with an infertility problem and was asked to take diagnostic tests. They were sent to a room to collect a sperm sample, she said. ‘But after there was no response from inside even after two hours, hospital staff member Kolimuddin broke open the door,’ she added. Pakhi claimed that Kolimuddin found the couple dead inside the room. On getting the information, police retrieved the bodies and sent them to Jhenidah General Hospital for autopsy. SP Hossain said the cause of death will be determined by autopsy, according to UNB.
