Court jails four for hunting migratory birds in Sunamganj

SYLHET, Dec 12 (UNB): A mobile court on Wednesday awarded six months' imprisonment to six people for hunting migratory birds in the Tanguar haor, a sanctuary, in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj district.
The convicts are Azim Uddin, son of Basir Miah, Shafique Miah, son of Shukur Ali, Yesmin Miah, son of Nurul Haque, and Sonarul Miah, son of Khairul Amin, of Lamagaon village in the upazila.
