Court permission for interrogating Hasina may reach jail today

Thursday, 25 October 2007

The court permission for interrogating detained former Prime Minister and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina on a graft case is likely to reach the jail authority today (Thursday), reports UNB.
DIG (Prisons) Shamsul Haider Siddiqui said that the jail authority could get the court orders about questioning the former Prime Minister by today.
Investigation Officer (IO) of the case and ACC deputy director Morshed Alam said the court would send the order to jail authority.
"It's the responsibility of the court, not us," he said.
