Court rejects bail plea of ex-MP Mukti

NARAIL, Oct 19 (BSS): A court in Narail has rejected the bail plea of former Narail-1 lawmaker Kabirul Haque Mukti and sent to jail in connection with a subversive acts case.
Mukti was produced before Judicial Magistrate Ratna Saha in a case filed with Kalia thana on September 12 last year and filed a bail petition. The magistrate, after hearing the arguments, rejected the petition and sent him to jail. The former lawmaker was arrested from Dhaka's Niketon area on September 24 and brought to Narail from Dhaka Central Jail on October 14.
