Monday, 17 November 2014
Denouncing a court summon against its senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman in a defamatory case, BNP Monday claimed the move is a deep-rooted conspiracy by the government against him.
In a statement, BNP spokesman Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “Issuing the court summon after filing a case against him (Tarique) is a deep-rooted conspiracy by this illegal government. The conspiratorial case and the subsequent summon has also reflected the all-pervasive vengeance of the regime. We strongly condemn and protest it.”, according to a news agency.
