Court summons Prothom Alo, Jai Jai Din editors

A Dhaka court has summoned editors of Bangla-daily language newspapers Prothom Alo and Jai Jai Din in two contempt cases filed by two ruling party MPs, reports bdnews24.com.
Judge Shahadat Hossain of Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court gave the order Wednesday following cases filed by Kamal Ahmed Majumder of Dhaka-15 and Abul Kalam Azad of Rangpur's Pirganj.
The case statement against daily Prothom Alo says the newspaper, in its October 25 issue, published a report entitled 'Garment factory in place of hospital, Kamal Majumder's infringement'.
