Cox\\\'s Bazar DC among 28 sued on charge of graft

A case was filed with a court in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday against 28 people, including the deputy commissioner (DC), in connection with embezzlement of Tk 230 million from Matarbari Coal Power Project. AKM Kaisarul Alam, a shrimp firm owner in Shikdarpara area of Matarbari upazila, lodged the case against the 28 officials with the court of Special Judge M Sadiqul Islam under the Anti Corruption Commission Act 2004, according to a news agency.
