CPA recovers occupied land worth Tk 20m

CHITTAGONG, Oct 27: The Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) has demolished different illegal structures established on the port land in the city's Newmooring area during its drive against illegal structures.
The CPA also recovered about seven Katha of land worth about Tk 20 million during its drive.
A mobile court led by Chittagong Port Magistrate Munir Chowduury demolished the structures including offices of two labour organisations, according to CPA sources.
The mobile court bulldozed six illegal structures including offices of Chittagong Port Workers' Union and Chittagong Port Merchant Labour Union.
