CPA ship capsizes in port area, crew safe

CHITTAGONG, Sep 13: A ship used for water supply, owned by the Chittagong Port Authority, capsized in the port area today.
The ship, MV Mashak, capsized while anchoring in a jetty of the port at around 5.00 am, port sources said.
Deputy Conservator Captain Nazmul Alam said all the crew of the vessels were taken to the shore and are safe. There will not be any problem in anchoring other vessels in the channel, he said.
The ship was deployed for supplying water to different vessels calling at the port. The DC said efforts are going on to salvage the ship.
