CPB-SPB to observe anti-terrorism day

Tuesday, 13 May 2014

Two left parties will hold joint rallies in Dhaka and elsewhere in the country on Wednesday to protest against terrorist acts. Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Socialist Party of Bangladesh (SPB) will observe May 14 as Anti-terrorism Agitation Day, said a CPB press release. The programmes seek to mobilize public opinion against forced disappearances, secret and extra-judicial killings across the country. They also condemn what they said “criminalization of the state and the society”. The central rally of the day will be held in front of National Press Club on Wednesday afternoon, said the release, according to UNB.
