CPD dialogue on post-Bali process of WTO tomorrow

A dialogue on Recapturing the Momentum in the Post-Bali Process of the WTO will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 3.00 pm at Lakeshore Hotel, Gulshan in the city. Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in partnership with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), Bangladesh Office is organising the event. Mr Md Shahriar Alam, MP, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Government of Bangladesh will be the chief guest at the dialogue. Professor Anwarul Hoda, Chair Professor, Trade Policy and WTO Research Programme, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER); Mr Richard O. Cunningham, Chairman, Cordell Hull Institute, Washington, D.C.; and Professor Longyue Zhao, Director, China Center for International Development, Nankai University, China will be making interventions as Panel Speakers at the session. Professor Bernard Hoekman, Director, Global Economics in the Global Governance Programme, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Italy will make the keynote presentation. Professor Rehman Sobhan, Chairman, CPD will make special comments at the programme. The dialogue will be chaired by Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya, Distinguished Fellow, CPD, according to a statement.
