CRAB, ICRA (India) extend accord for another three years

The Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh (CRAB), which started its operation in 2004 with ICRA of India as its technical partner, has renewed its technical cooperation agreement for another three years.
With high-level technical support from ICRA, one of the leading rating agencies of India, CRAB during the short period of its existence has emerged as a dynamic and dependable rating agency and has been able to provide credit rating services to a wide range of' clientele, namely, banks, insurance companies, non-banking financial institutions, corporate bodies, infrastructure projects and debt instruments of' financial institutions, etc.
ICRA has helped CRAB in its exploration into new areas of rating in Bangladesh and further extension of the collaboration agreement would ensure continued growth and development of' rating technology and methodology in Bangladesh.
The agreement was signed by Managing Director Masihur Rahman on behalf' of CRAB and Vice Chairman and Group CEO PK Choudhury on behalf of ICRA.
