\\\'Crackdown on piracy soon\\\'

The government will launch campaign soon throughout the country against piracy, said Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu. He said the anti-piracy campaign sould be launched to ensure revival of the film industry. He said to protect the film industry piracy must be stopped, costs must be cut and all privileges pertaining to an industry, as pronounced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, would be ensured by the ministry. Explaining the multi-pronged initiative to contain piracy, he said that apart from taking action against those involved with piracy, cable and dish operators who run such movies should also be taken to task. He also suggested updating laws relating to piracy and keeping in touch with YouTube and other portals to stop piracy, according to a news agency.
