Credit rating cos form assoc

With a view to contributing enhanced important role in the overall economic development of the country, the registered credit rating companies have recently formed an association titled Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Bangladesh (ACRAB).
In addition to ensuring due compliance with the rules,  regulations and code of conduct related to the rating, simultaneous development of the rating industry through strengthening and streamlining the rating activities is one of the prime objectives of ACRAB.
The first executive committee of ACRAB has been formed with Muzaffar Ahmed, President & CEO of Credit Rating Information & Services Ltd as Chairman and Hamidul Huq, Managing Director of Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Ltd as Vice Chairman.
Mohammed Asadullah, Managing Director of Alpha Credit Rating Ltd has been made Secretary General while Ahsan Parvez, Managing Director & CEO of Emerging Credit Rating Ltd Treasurer, said a press release.
