Cricket Coaching School beat Young Cricketers by 5 wickets in their Dhaka Metropolis First Division Cricket League match at Jahangirnagar University ground in Savar Wednesday, reports UNB.
Replying to Young Cricketers' 207 runs, Cricket Coaching School scored 211 runs for 5 in 48.5 overs to seal the win.
Opener Munim Shahriar scored team highest 76 runs off 61 balls featuring nine fours and two sixes.
Shahriar partnering with Saif Hasan (24) contributed 78 runs in 16.4 overs in the opening stand.
Saifuddin scored not out 45 runs off 62 balls with five fours while skipper Imran Ahmed (19), Raisul Islam Rosi (18), Ashish Shadu (14) and Ashraful Nabi (not out 8) were the other scorers for Young Cricketers.
Moyan Uddin and Nasir Uddin Rony grabbed two wickets each for 26 and 37 runs respectively while Imamul Hasan took the other wicket.
Earlier, sent in to bat first, Young Cricketers scored 207 runs for 9 in stipulated 50 overs.
Nasir Uddin Rony scored team highest 40 runs from 70 deliveries with a four; Asfat Ahmed Jetu added 38 runs off 51 balls with five fours and a six while Moyan Uddin (28), Kazi Asif Al Asad (not out 25), Delwar Hossain (24) and Sabbir Hossain (14) were the other scorers for Young Cricketers.
Saifuddin captured three wickets for 40 runs in 10 overs; Nazmus Sakib took two wickets for 43 runs also from 10 overs while Raisul Islam Rosi, Ishaque and Sukran took one wicket each.
