Cricketers asked to report at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium Oct 2

The 13 cricket players, selected for the 3-day match against Australia in Narayanganj on October 3, have been asked to report at the home of Bangladesh cricket – Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur on October 2. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday announced the 13-member squad. They have been asked to report by 2:30pm on that day. Apart from 3-day match which will be held at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatulla, the Australian national team will play a two-match Test series against the Bengal Tigers. The first Test will be held at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong on October 9-12 while the 2nd Test match will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Dhaka’s Mirpur on October 17-21. Selected players are: Imrul Kayes, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Mahmudul Hasan, Mohammad Mithun, Soumya Sarker, Shabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Saikat, Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury, Naeem Islam, Al-Amin Hossain, Kamrul Islam Rabb, Abu Zayed Rahi and Shafiul Islam, according to a news agency.
