Crisis created by BNP will be overcome: PM

Tuesday, 10 February 2015

Dubbing the violent nationwide transport blockade enforced by the BNP and its allies a 'manmade crisis', Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina says Bangladesh will overcome it, report agencies.
She expressed the hope while inaugurating an expo on information technology at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Monday.
The four-day 'Digital World' will highlight the country's progresses in the ICT sector.
The ICT Division, Bangladesh Computer Council and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) are jointly organising the Digital World-2015 with the theme - 'Future is here'.
Speaking on the turbulent political situation, Hasina said: "We have been going through that manmade calamity for the past one month. God willing, we will be able to overcome this crisis."
"Just as Bangladesh combats natural calamities because of its geographical position, it battles manmade crises too."
"Burning people alive can't be any movement. It's unbelievable that any human being can do something this inhuman. They are enemies of the country and humanity," she added.
