Awami League General Secretary and LGRD Minister Syed Ashraful Islam on Saturday said criticism of the proposed budget doesn’t suit BNP. ‘Criticism does not suit those who placed budget by wearing uniform. Moreover, they have no right,’ he said indicating BNP as the party criticised the budget proposed by Finance Minister AMA Muhith for the fiscal year 2014-2015 on Thursday in the Jatiya Sangsad (parliament). The AL General Secretary made the remarks while talking to journalists after placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, marking the historic six-point day, at Bangabandhu Bhaban on Dhanmondi Road No 32 in the city. About the economists’ criticism of the proposed budget, Syed Ashraful Islam said that only one man expressed confusion over the implementation of the budget. 'So, there is no meaning of replying to his remarks.' The AL leader caimed that the coming budget is people-oriented and investment friendly, according to a news agency.
