Crockery trader found dead in Kushtia

KUSHTIA, Oct 2 (UNB): A crockery trader was found dead at his house at Bhatapara in Sadar upazila early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Bachchu Bhuinyan,45, son of Yunus Bhuinyan, a resident of Katarikandi village in Raipur upazila of Narshingdi district.
Quoting locals, police said Bachchu had been living alone at the house in the area while his family used to live in Dhaka.
Bachchu's wife phoned him on Thursday morning but she did not get any response.
Later she informed Bachchu's neighbours.
His neighbours called him but they also did not get any response and informed police.
After breaking the grill of Bachchu's house, police and local people entered his room and spotted his body lying on the floor beside bathroom.
The body with some stab marks was sent to Kushtia General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Police suspected that he might have been stabbed to death by miscreants at some time on Wednesday night.
A case was filed in this connection.
