Crop clinic at KU planned

The Khulna University (KU) authorities have taken up an initiative to set up a crop clinic at the varsity for the benefit of the farmers of the south-western coastal region. The clinic having a website will disseminate information on proper crop management. Farmers as well as researchers could receive direct technological assistance from it. Diagnosis of various problems and diseases of crops and plants will be made here. The clinic will provide instant solutions or give prescriptions for any complications of crops or plants if farmers send pictures through internet or take samples of those there, according to a news agency.
