Crowley hails Army for support to CG

Cochairman of Bangladesh Caucus in US Congress Joseph Crowley hailed the Bangladesh Army for extending support to the present caretaker government's anti-corruption and terrorism drives, reports UNB.
In a meeting with army chief General Moeen at his New York city office Friday, Crowley said the USA always wants to see Bangladesh as a corruption-free country with strong democratic institutions.
Crowley thanked the Army chief when he told the Congressman that Bangladesh was moving towards a free and fair election as per the announced roadmap, and the judiciary was going to be separated from the administration in addition to a plan to set up a HR commission.
