MI Cement Factory Ltd, manufacturer of Crown Cement, will hold a road show today (Sunday) at Sheraton Hotel to determine the value of its shares from institutional bidders as a pre-requisite of book building method. Details of the company including the financial position will be disclosed to the potential clients during the road show.
The company has determined its indicative price at Tk 93 against face value of Tk 10.
The cement factory wants to mobilise funds from the public and institutional buyers worth Tk 300 million mainly to install its fourth unit having production capacity of 3000 metric tonnes per day.
"We'll also procure our own vessel from the fund to lower the transportation costs," said Md Jahangir, chainman of the MI Cement Factory Ltd.
He also said his company would build a jetty along with cranes for smooth unloading of raw materials.
The company's current capacity is 2800 tonnes and its paid-up capital is Tk 700 million.
