Crystal Ins plans IPO floatation

Crystal Insurance Company Limited is planning to float IPO (initial public offering).
The Board of Directors of the company discussed the issue in a meeting recently and instructed the Managing Director to complete all the procedures relating to it, said a press release.
The 37th meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held in the city was presided over by the company's Chairman Abdullah Al-Mahmud.
Also present were directors AHM Mozammel Hoque, Abdullah Al-Zahir, Tajul Islam, Md. Harun-Ar-Rashid, Asoke Ranjan Kapuria, Mahmuda Begum, Farhana Nasrin, Shahzadi Begum and Managing Director MA Latif Miah.
The meeting also expressed satisfaction over the company's business performance in 2008, which was much better than in 2007.
