CSE arranges training course

A four-week long comprehensive training course titled 'basic knowledge on capital market,' second of its kind, arranged by Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) began at CSE conference hall Monday.
ASM Nayeem, former president of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and a director of CSE was the chief guest in the inaugural session.
He urged the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to expedite the establishment of a Securities Training Institute to help create skilled human resource for the stock market.
Citing the examples of such institutes of India, Thailand and Malaysia, Nayeem said CSE had pioneered the concept of establishing a institute in Bangladesh.
AB Siddique, chief executive officer of CSE delivered opening remarks in the session while Mohammad Mohiuddin, a former director of CSE also spoke on the occasion.
