CSE arranges two-day training workshop

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has recently organised a two-day training workshop for the prospective authorised representatives of CSE brokerage houses at CSE Dhaka office, according to a press release.
The training programme is a prerequisite for them before obtaining registration certificate to work at any brokerage houses of the bourses.
Member of SEC Muhammad Yasin Ali presided over the inaugural function.
Mr Ali said: "SEC has framed a new guideline and agreement for the authorized representatives, which is very friendly for them and also in agreement with strict conditions like honesty and integrity emphasised during brokerage operation."
While discussing recent market trend, he said investors BO account, market PE ratio and Market Capital are increasing day by day. Officials of every brokerage houses should ensure proper implementation of compliance issues so that market discipline is maintained.
CSE directors Mohammad Fakhruddin, M Hasan Mahmud, Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Mahbuber Rahman Chowdhury and Md Ashraful Islam, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Syed Sajid Husain and executive directors Md Anwarul Islam and ATM Tariquzzaman also spoke on the occasion.
CSE Dhaka Office Manager and In-charge AKM Shahroze Alam and other senior officials of CSE were also present on the occasion.
