CSE brokerage house opens branch at Khatunganj

CHITTAGONG, July 23: Kabir Securities Ltd, a leading member of CSE, has opened its 4th branch at Khatungonj in Chittagong to increase its client range.
Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, president of CSE, was the chief guest while chief executive of the bourse AB Siddique was the special guest in the opening ceremony.
Mohammed Alamgir Kabir, chairman of Kabir Securities Ltd, AKM Shahroze Alam, manager, Corporate Development, Nahidul Islam Khan, manager, Compliance, Arif Ahmed, manager, Admin were present from CSE in the inaugural ceremony.
Mr Nasiruddin in his speech said, "Rapid trading volume in the bourses needs door step service by the members so that investors at every corner get opportunity to do share trading.
He said, "Bangladesh Stock Market sees a good prospect in the days to come. If investors' skill on investment decision is utilised, definitely a hefty return must be achieved by the investors. Only investors need to learn the pros and cons of investment tools and techniques."
AB Siddique, CEO of CSE while speaking as the special guest, said "The market regulators are now more efficient than in the past. Investors are now much protected by the rules and regulations enacted time to time by the SEC, DSE and CSE.
"We are much confident that market situation will never be like the 1996 debacle. Investors should not depend on others' suggestion especially at the time of placing order, rather invest on their own decision after analysing all the factors of the company concerned.
"Sometimes it has been witnessed in the market movement that some scrips behaved irrationally due to overheat by the buoyant pressure which proved sometimes illogical. Investors should be cautioned all the time particularly while investing in share market."
