CSE executives, representatives of top brokers visit IDX

An eight-member team comprised by two CSE executives and six executives of CSE top brokers - Lanka Bangla Securities, Multi Securities, EBL Securities, Be Rich, Kabir Securities and Meenhar Securities Ltd successfully completed their excursion to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in Jakarta recently, said a statement.
The six-day tour was organised and sponsored by CSE as recognition of the valued contribution of its eligible TREC holders.
The team was cordially hosted by one of the directors of the IDX and her team on September 5 where they received elucidated and practical information on Indonesian financial market and its growth, general trading operation, settlement procedure, brokerage services, corporate strategy and most importantly on the highly established SME and Bond market operation in Indonesia. On every above stated topic there were separate presentations.
On the following day, the team attended a learning session on the reputable Indonesian Islamic and Shariah Market maneuver. The visiting team got the opportunity to visit one of the top brokerage houses of Indonesia and a Korean venture - The Mirae Assets Securities on the same day. The team also attended meetings on both days hosted by the IDX Vice President, Directors and other high officials or departmental heads.
