CSE for bringing quality IPOs

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) Monday held a meeting with its TREC (Trading Right Entitlement Certificate) holders to discuss the latest market situation.
The meeting was held at the Dhaka office of the port city bourse CSE.
According to CSE officials, the issue of bringing quality IPOs (initial public offering) was discussed at the meeting. The CSE also wanted to know the TREC holders' opinion regarding changes and necessity of rules and regulations.
"The issues of the development of the capital market through the regulatory framework and introduction of new products were also discussed at the meeting," the CSE said.
At the meeting, the CSE management urged the TREC holders to increase the use of the internet trading service. The CSE Managing Director M. Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar chaired the meeting, attended by other CSE officials and different TREC holders.
