CSE, SAFE, BCIM sign MoU

A tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed Thursday among the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE) and BCIM, a forum of Bangladesh, China, India and Myanmar, in a bid to work for the betterment of the financial markets.
The MoU was signed at the Dhaka office of the port city bourse.
As SAFE Chairman the CSE President Al Maruf Khan signed the MoU whereas the CSE Managing Director Syed Sajid Husain and Mr.Liu Jinxin, the logistic and financial association director of the BCIM, were the signatories apart from the CSE and BCIM respectively.
"As per the MoU, signed Thursday, the CSE's Dhaka office will used as the country office of the SAFE and BCIM," said Mr. Sajid.
He said the MoU was signed among the three parties for the sake of financial regional market integrations, cross border listings and other matters of financial markets.
"The CSE will provide necessary help when the representatives of SAFE and the BCIM members will come to Bangladesh," said the CSE managing director.
