Ctg businessmen exchange views with newsmen

Chittagong, March 15: Two top businessmen of Chittagong exchanged their views with the members of the press at Chittagong Press Club recently.
Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) President Saifuzzaman Chowdhury and Badsha Shilpa Gosthy Managing Director Isha Badsha Mohsin spoke on the occasion on behalf of the Chittagong based business community.
The CCCI president in his address said, desired development of Bangladesh is not at all possible without development of Chittagong. Although Chittagong contributes 80 per cent revenue to the public exchequer it is a matter of great regreat that even a small portion of that is not spent for the uplift of Chittagong.
He said, if the Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport is made ready for operating international flights , it would helps develop tourism industry of the region. He expressed his optimism that on availability of land from the government, business community of Chittagong would be able to set up industrial parks in the region.
