Ctg Club elects office-bearers

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 15: Jashim Uddin Chowdhury and Al Sadat Dobhash Sagar have been elected chairman and vice chairman of Chittagong Club Limited respectively in the annual general meeting and general committee election.
They were elected unopposed in the meeting held on Thursday, a statement of the club said.
Al Sadat was elected vice chairman of the club for the second term.
Other members, all elected unopposed, in the meeting were: SM Shafiul Azam, Salauddin Ahmed, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu, Sultanul Abedin Chowdhury, Abu Ahmed Hasnat, Nur Uddin Zaved, Md Rafiqul Islam Meah Babul, Dr Alak Nandi and Md Zahid Sultan Tipu.
Chittagong Club's outgoing chairman Meah Md Abdur Rahim presided over the annual general meeting.
