Ctg cop murder suspects on remand

CHITTAGONG, Apr 18 (bdnews24.com): A Chittagong court has granted the police to take on remand two suspects arrested in connection with the murder of assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Borhan. District senior judicial magistrate Farida Yasmin passed the remand order Monday for questioning them. Sub-inspector of Mirsarai Police Station Yasin Faruk, who is also the investigation officer of the case, told the news agency that the court passed a three-day remand order against his request for five days. The suspects, Mohammad Osman Gani (24), and Siraj Mia alias Tipu (26), were arrested in the early hours of Sunday, Ruhul Amin Siddiqi told reporters. The two were the cohorts of top drug dealer and wanted accused 'Parvez' of Mirsarai Upazila.
