Ctg earn 3rd outright victory beating Dhaka

Hosts Chittagong Division earned the 3rd outright victory in their 4th match of the Walton 13th National Cricket League beating Dhaka Division by 26 runs on the 3rd day of the four-day affairs at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong Wednesday, reports UNB. In the day's match, Chittagong Division, which scored 176 runs in the first innings, resumed the 2nd innings with 213 for 9 in 65 overs and were dismissed without scoring any run playing just three balls (21310 in 65.3). In reply, Dhaka Division, having 175 runs in the first innings, opened the 2nd innings in the morning and were all out for 188 runs in 66 overs to concede a 26 runs defeat. Nazmul Islam (38), Shahadat Hossain (30), Mosharraf Hossain (23), Rony Talukder (20) were notable scorers for Dhaka in the 2nd innings.
