Ctg housing fair from Wednesday

Our Correspondent CHITTAGONG, Oct 8: Bangladesh Real Estate Directory (BD-RED) starts its four-day housing fair at Chittagong from October 12 at the Institution of Engineers compound in the city. Organisers disclosed this at a press conference at a hotel in the city this afternoon. The said more than 60 real estate developers and producers of allied products will showcase their performances in the 9th BD-RED fair. CEO of the BD-RED Yeasin Khan read out the paper depicting programmes related with the fair while advisor of BD-RED Mrs Anisa Haque, Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan of Apex Housing and Development, Anwar Chowdhury of Secure Properties Development and Nazrul Islam, MD of Nazrul Group, the event partner, addressed. City mayor M Monjur Alam will inaugurate the fair on Wednesday afternoon while chairman of Chittagong Development Authority MA Salam will address the closing ceremony as chief guest on October 15. On the occasion of the fair the authorities will organize a seminar on the Booming Tourism Industry and the Role of Housing Industry on the Economic Development. They will also organize a rally upholding the sustainable and environment-friendly housing projects. The fair will be open for all from 10 am to 9 pm everyday and the visitors will be offered attractive raffle draw coupons, organizers said.
