Ctg paper mill catches fire

A fire broke out at a paper mill in Kalurghat BSCIC Industrial Area in the outskirts of Chittagong city on Friday morning. Fire Service and Civil Defence sources said the fire erupted at 'Mir Paper Mill' in the BSCIC Industrial area around 8:25am and spread soon. Being informed, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot from different fire station in the port city and were trying to put out the blaze till 11:30 in the morning. The origin of the fire could not be ascertained immediately, according to a news agency.
