CU admission forms on cell phone calls

CHITTAGONG, Jul 2: Chittagong University has decided to sell admission forms for the session 2010-11 through mobile phone calls.
The authority said they have decided to relieve the admission seekers from extra hassle and to stop form sales trading by the so-called coaching centres.
The decision was taken in the CU senate meeting with the vice chancellor Abu Yusuf Alam in the chair recently.
"The intending candidates will be able to buy admission forms through a mobile call from any corner of the country," he said adding that Shahjalal University introduced the system in the academic session 2009-10.
