CU admission test deferred for two months

CHATTOGRAM, May 23: The Dean's committee of Chittagong University (CU) deferred the admission test of Honours first year of 2020-21 academic year for two months at a meeting on Sunday.
Sources said, CU authority scheduled the admission test of Honours first year of 2020-21 academic year from June 22 to July 1 next. The committee took the decision to hold the admission test from August 20 to 27 next due to coronavirus outbreak.
Acting Registrar of CU S M Munirul Hasan said, "Committee rescheduled the admission test of Honours first year of 2020-21 academic year from June 22 to July 1 next."
A total of 1,83,870 students applied for admission to Honours first year of 2020-21 academic year. On an average, a total of 37 students will fight for each seat this year.
