CU shuttle trains re-scheduled for admission tests

CHITTAGONG, Nov 8: The railway authority has re-scheduled its shuttle trains between the city and Chittagong University (CU) to facilitate students who will sit for admission tests from November 11.
According to new schedule the shuttle trains from Chittagong city to campus and campus to the city will leave for destination 45 minutes ahead of the present schedule until November 18.
Railway officials said they have changed the schedule of seven shuttle trains bound for the varsity while seven others will leave the campus as per new timings. It has been done in a meeting with the CU authority, they said.
As per re-scheduling from Sunday the first train will leave Chittagong station for CU at 6.45 am in stead of 7.30 am. Time of all seven pairs of trains has been fixed 45 minutes ahead of their present schedule from Chittagong and Sholashhar Stations and back from the campus accordingly.
No public transport except private cars, autos, etc will be allowed to enter the campus during the new timings, authorities said.
