CUFL halts output for four months

CHITTAGONG, July 22: Production in the Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Ltd (CUFL) will remain suspended for about four months due to repair of the plant's reactor. High officials at the CUFL said the repair work started on July 20. Most of the necessary equipment reached the factory. The urea plant required this major overhauling after long 29 years since its installation in 1986.
