CUJ TV journos\\\' unit formed

CHITTAGONG, Oct 20: Chittagong Union of Journalists (CUJ) has formed its TV journalists unit at a meeting Sunday night at Chittagong Press Club.
Moinuddin Dulal of 71 TV has been elected the unit chief while Anindya Tito of Gazi TV the deputy unit chief.
The leaders also demanded raising the professional standard and forming a separate wage board for the TV crews as recommended in the 7th and 8th Wage Board Awards.
The meeting was presided over by CUJ president Ezaj Yusufi and addressed by vice president Ratan Kanti Debashis, general secretary Hasan Ferdous, former CUJ president Shahid Ul Alam, former secretary Riaz Haider Chowdhury.
