Cultural ministry asked to send PPs by July 15

Officials and chiefs of different wings of the ministry of cultural affairs have been asked to submit project proposals (PPs) for the year 2010-11 by July 15 next as per directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS.
At a review meeting on Annual Development Programme (ADP) projects at the ministry in the city Monday, State Minister for Cultural Affairs Advocate Promod Mankin asked the officials to prepare the project proposals within this stipulated time.
The state minister, who chaired the meeting, also advised the officials not to send any faulty project proposals to the planning commission without checking it properly.
The projects must be realistic and for well-being of the people, Mr Mankin said.
He expressed satisfaction that maximum projects of the ministry had been completed in 2009-2010.
But some projects remained incomplete due to legal complications and those would be completed after the legal matters are resolved, the meeting was told.
