Cumilla BNP leader Jasim Uddin passes away

CUMILLA, Oct 2 (BSS): Jasim Uddin, former senior vice president of Cumilla Metropolitan BNP, and ex-general secretary of the City BNP, passed away at a hospital in capital on Thursday. He was 56.
BNP leader Advocate Sabera Alauddin confirmed the news of his death around 2:00 pm.
Jasim suffered a brain stroke at his Cumilla residence on September 29, followed by a cardiac arrest. He was later shifted to Dhaka as his condition deteriorated and died while undergoing treatment.
He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter.
